How BrandCore* works

What BrandCore* is

BrandCore* is the place your brand gets built. It brings you into the process from the very first moment, so the strategy and creative work that emerges is rooted in things you actually said, showed us, and care about. Nothing is decided in a room you never entered.

Once the branding work is complete, BrandCore* stays with you. You can ask it questions about your brand, pull assets, and keep it close as your company grows and changes. It goes from a place where your brand was built to a home where your brand lives.

Collect

The first stage is simple: add things. You get a clean, open input where you can type, paste, upload files, share links, or record a voice note. There is no wrong thing to put in. The only mistake is leaving something out because you thought it was too small or too obvious.

The kinds of things that help most are references you love, stories from your company history, competitors you admire and ones you want nothing to do with, places and people who feel like your world, and gut feelings you have not yet found words for. If something catches your attention and you cannot immediately explain why, that is a good reason to add it.

You can add things whenever they occur to you. There is no deadline and no submission button. The collection stays open until the agency moves the engagement forward. Your team can contribute too, and you can choose whether each item stays private or becomes visible to colleagues.

Process

As things land in BrandCore*, the agency reads and organises them. The scattered input becomes structured material: themes begin to emerge, connections appear between things you added on different days, and patterns that you might not have noticed yourself become visible.

Nothing is wasted. A link you shared on a Tuesday afternoon and a gut feeling you typed on a Friday can end up as two sides of the same insight. The agency supplements your contributions with research and context of their own, building out the picture as fully as possible.

This stage is mostly invisible to you. You keep adding things; the agency keeps working. You may receive occasional messages asking you to expand on something or contribute in a particular area. Otherwise, the collection is doing its job.

Inform

The material you contributed informs every decision the agency makes. When the strategy is presented, each point traces back to something real you said or shared. When creative directions are proposed, the reasoning connects to your actual inputs, not to generic category thinking.

This is what makes the work feel like yours rather than something imposed on you. The agency can point to the specific things you added and explain what they took from them. If something does not feel right, that conversation starts from an honest shared record, not from competing impressions.

The trace back to your inputs remains available throughout. Later, when you are applying the brand in new situations, you can return to the original thinking and understand why things are the way they are.

Branding Agent

After the branding work is handed over, BrandCore* becomes your long-term brand companion. You can ask it questions: does this copy feel on-brand, what colour should we use here, how does the brand express itself in this context. It draws on the strategy and system the agency built, so the answers are grounded in your actual brand, not generic advice.

You can also pull assets directly, share the brand with new team members who join after the project ends, and keep the brand accessible to everyone who needs it. As your company grows, the brand grows with you. If you commission follow-on work, it begins from everything that already exists, not from scratch.

Getting the most from it

A few things that make a real difference:

  • Be honest. Add things you genuinely love and things you genuinely hate. Neutrality is the least useful input. Strong opinions are the most useful.
  • Add things as they occur to you. The best contributions often come in quiet moments, not when you sit down to be thoughtful. If something catches your attention, add it before you talk yourself out of it.
  • Share with your team where it makes sense. The more perspectives in the collection, the richer the material. Different people in your company see different things, and those differences are often the most interesting part.
  • There are no wrong answers. References, stories, gut feelings, things you cannot explain. If it feels relevant, it probably is. The agency knows what to do with ambiguous material.

What to expect

Most of your time with BrandCore* is asynchronous. You add things when they occur to you. The agency processes and builds in the background. There is no pressure to complete the collection by a certain date and no form to fill out.

The agency moves the engagement forward. Each stage opens when the agency decides the right time has come, and you will be notified when there is something new to see or respond to. Occasional messages may arrive asking for more input in a specific area, and two or three larger moments are built into most engagements: a strategy presentation, creative proposals, and the handover.

Throughout, you can see what you have added, and your team can see what has been shared. The agency keeps you informed with brief updates as the work progresses. Nothing happens behind closed doors and the work that comes back to you will be traceable to things you put in.
